THE CONCEPTION OF INTERNATIONALIZATION AT FJU
The
concept of internationalization at Fu Jen
Catholic University has always been our aim
which we have continued working on. The
internationalized campus of FJU is based on
global university networks, intensive and
essential international academic exchange, the
implementation of foreign language education
website and growing number of international
students. In order to put the ideal of a
comprehensive internationalized university into
practice, Office of International Education was
established in February, 2008. The Office of
International Education with the intent to
integrate international activities on the campus
and to efficiently promote international
exchanges.
SETTING UP THREE MAIN GOALS:
1. To create a friendly campus atmosphere.
2. To increase international visibility and enhance overseas recruitment of students.
3. To create an international learning environment.
As to achieving these three goals, we propose three practical axes: Consolidate the living, learning and counseling systems. Expand international promotion and cooperation measures. Offer international courses and post information in bulletins on the campus.
